MAVI STEP Detacheur Universal is a premium cleaner for intensive yet gentle cleaning of all types of smooth natural leather. It handles the toughest dirt: removes old layers of creams, waxes, silicone protectors and resins, salt and water marks, grease stains and grime deeply embedded in the material.

Detacheur Universal not only cleans but also degreases the leather, opening its pores and restoring its natural breathability. This makes it the ideal preparation before dyeing or applying nourishing balms and creams. It does not damage the material, does not bleach it and leaves no marks after drying. It also works great for whitening the white soles of sneakers and other sports shoes.

Material: natural smooth leather, faux leather, white rubber and polyurethane soles.
Use on: footwear (boots, shoes, sneakers), outerwear (jackets, coats), accessories (bags, wallets, belts), furniture upholstery (sofas, armchairs), car interiors (seats, steering wheel, dashboard), whitening white soles.
Color: colorless.
Volume: 20 ml (0.68 fl oz), 100 ml (3.38 fl oz).

How to use

1. Remove dust and dirt with a brush (e.g. MAVI STEP Reagan).
2. Shake the bottle vigorously for a few seconds.
3. Apply a small amount of cleaner to a clean cotton cloth (we recommend MAVI STEP Chamoisine).
4. Gently wipe the soiled area or the entire surface without heavy pressure. Stubborn stains and old polish may need light rubbing. White soles can be cleaned with a stiff-bristle brush.
5. Leave for 5–10 minutes to dry completely. Repeat if needed.
6. Once dry, the leather is ready for nourishing, restoring or dyeing products.

Tip. Detacheur Universal is a powerful cleaner and does not nourish the leather. Afterwards, always restore softness and protection with MAVI STEP Creme Universelle balm, MAVI STEP Creme de Beaute wax cream or MAVI STEP Cirage de Luxe wax.

Caution! Test on an inconspicuous area before use. Work in a well-ventilated room. Not for suede, nubuck, velour or other napped materials. On patent leather, use only after a compatibility test.
